Vigneron - Jean-Marc Astruc

Jean-Marc Astruc lives in the village of Tuchan, the home town of Mont Tauch.

He was born and bred in the village and his passion for wine and vine growing was passed onto him by his father Roger, who himself inherited it from his father.

Jean-Marc is a determined person by nature; his resolve was nurtured from an early age at the Tuchan rugby academy.

The way he manages to communicate his fervour and enthusiasm to the other growers at the coop, brought him to be nominated President of the Mont Tauch Cooperative in 1998. He won the support of the growers by integrating the needs of each grower within a common plan firmly geared towards the future.

Today, Jean-Marc embodies the exemplary achievements of a cooperative aware of its history and focused on its human element.

Jean-Marc is one of Les Douze in 1998 and in 2002.
