The Château de Ségure vineyard is renowned for producing wines of great quality with good aging potential.
Built in the 11th century, the Château de Ségure stands at 300 meters altitude, a few kilometres north of Tuchan.
The vines are planted on a slope mainly constituted of schist, where it benefits from the warm and dry climate with ideal exposure to the sun.
Tasting: a deep purple colour, the wine offers a complex nose with spice and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, it is robust and well balanced with good length and elegance.

Carignan and Syrah are fermented by carbonic maceration for twelve days under constant temperature. The Grenache is destalked and undergoes the traditional fermentation process with daily racking. The wine is then blended and aged in new French oak for twelve months.
